CONFESSION CATCHERPOETRY
CONFESSION CATCHERS
A small folded relic — something once found in the hands of children, re-interpreted to hold my confessions. Inside, poems hide - representing the secrets I long to keep. Each corner is a confession - so you can only see all of me if you open it completely. because some things take time to say, and even longer to understand.
break your fall
with my body
my heart groans
as the day lengthens
like the scarf down her chest
the sun sinks slow
like the tea blooming in our cup
blue glaze with the chipped edge
inspired by Kelela’s “take me apart”
